2013 election results final

All the votes have been counted for the Nov. 5 election as of Nov. 14. The main change since election night was in the race for three seats on the Willits Unified School District Board of Trustees. Christopher J. Neary nudged out Bob Harper for the final seat on the board by 19 votes. All other local results remain unchanged since the Nov. 5 update.
In the Willits Unified School District election challenger Laurie Harris was the top vote getter with 1,240 votes; incumbent Cynthia Carni with 1,200 votes, Neary with 1,034 and Harper with 1,015 votes.
In the Brooktrails the three incumbents were reelected. Tony Orth with 308 votes, George Skezas with 270; Rick Williams with 268; David Paland with 232 votes; Gino Zalunardo with 157 votes; and 110 write in votes.
Measure I for a new firehouse in Little Lake Fire District lost. It required a favorable vote of 2/3 of the votes to pass. It received 60.8 percent of the vote with 956 in favor and 617 votes against.
Less than 25 percent of the registered voters cast ballots in this election.
